    # A civic protocol for shared decisions Groups making consequential decisions should publish the question, the available evidence, and the people responsible for the final choice. Every proposal should remain open for public comment by people materially affected for a period proportionate to its urgency and reversibility, with fourteen days as the default. After deciding, the group should publish its reasoning and revisit the outcome after six months.
