A civic protocol for shared decisions

Groups making consequential decisions should publish the question, the available evidence, the decision-makers, and any material conflicts of interest.

Every proposal should remain open for public comment for a period proportionate to its urgency and reversibility, with fourteen days as the default.

After deciding, the group should publish its reasoning and revisit the outcome after six months.
